Known across the Czech Republic and Slovakia under the acronym, Pexeso (Czech: Pekelne se soustred = Focus hard), the memory game has been popularized by the namesake TV program in the mid-1960s.
Two kroje memory games here come from the publisher of the best-selling book, Atlas of Czech Folk Costume. To play: cut out 64 cards on three panels. Shuffle and spread them on a flat surface face down. Players take turns flipping the cards to look for pairs. Yields 32 pairs.
