Cardinal on a Clip

Each ornament begins as a clear tube of glass that is heated and formed. The glassblower then blows into the tube to expand the glass and form it into a ball. A silvering solution is used inside to make the glass more reflective. The ornaments are then spray painted and some are decorated and painted by hand. All our ornaments are made manually by this traditional technique in either the Czech Republic or Slovakia.
