The publication presents the uniqueness of women’s artistic creation, and highlights the achievements of many women who were artists before their work received formal recognition as art. Through their work, they influenced the development of Kovacica Naive Painting, and along their male counterparts, contributed to the inscription on UNESCO’s List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
