The scarf’s design celebrates the art of Moravian-born artist, Joža Uprka (1861-1940), who forever immortalized the scenes from the Moravian countryside at the end of the 19th and beginning of 20th centuries. Portraits of ordinary villagers wearing kroje (kro-yeh) at various small or large occasions vividly document the life of that period.
