Magnets for America’s 250th Anniversary

Commemorating this important milestone in our nation’s history are the two magnets – each with its distinct design of either federal symbols or immigrant community who helped built our country.

The flat magnet with a newly arrived female immigrant walking towards the welcoming community next to the Museum’s orloj tower is 4.5×3” in size. It was designed by the Iowa artist, Martin Irmiter. The metal magnet is 3” in size and features Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell, American flag and other symbols of the republic.
