Slovak Recipes

This varied collection of recipes was compiled by Toni Brendel and Simonka Wadina from Winsconsin. The collection honors their Slovak heritage and culinary traditions. The book contains categories of soups, salads, breads and pancakes, main entrees, side dishes, meats, vegetables and rice, long list of the most popular desserts, and beverages. Many are old-fashioned recipes cherished by not only authors’ families but also by other Slovak immigrants to America.
